Rent a bike and explore the area!
Rent a bike at the reception and head out on an adventure in our local area! There is an abundance of wonderful hidden gems out in the countryside, in and around Varberg, and it is easy to get around by bike. Flea markets, auctions, farm shops, exhibitions, farms, cafes, and more. Many farm shops offer locally grown and absolutely delightful products, so remember to bring a bike basket!
Close to Varberg
There is a nice bike path all the way into Varberg. It is about 5 km to Varberg Square and takes approximately 20 minutes. Take the opportunity to stroll around the town for a while, and pause for an ice cream!

Are we out of bikes?
Then we recommend Varberg’s new bike rental service. Naturally, in the bike-friendly city of Varberg, it is bikes from the local bike factory Cycleurope that roll on the streets. They are easy to spot with their bright colors in turquoise and orange. The bike is rented through the system Donkey Republic, and the app can be downloaded on both Android and iPhone.
At selected locations around Varberg, there are spots where you can pick up and return your rented bike. It is perfectly fine to rent the bike at one place and return it at another.
